Drift
Each field of colour follows its own curve — two frequencies that almost, but never quite, agree. The dotted path closes only after nearly a minute.
a study in how colour moves
scrollColour never really sits still. It pools, thins and slips past itself — the way light behaves in a glass of water held up to a window.
Lucid is a small study in slowness. Seven soft fields of pigment drift along Lissajous paths that almost, but never quite, repeat. A turbulence map bends their edges the way heat bends air, and a breath of film grain keeps every gradient honest.
Nothing on this page is an image. Every colour is computed, every refraction is drawn live, and each mood is only four colours and a temperament. Move your pointer — the nearest fields lean toward it, gently, like plants toward a window.
Everything in the hero is made from three ingredients. Here they are on their own, looping in place, wearing whichever mood you last chose.
Each field of colour follows its own curve — two frequencies that almost, but never quite, agree. The dotted path closes only after nearly a minute.
A turbulence map bends whatever sits behind the glass, and splits it a little by channel. The word in the hero is a window, not a sticker.
A breath of fine grain dithers the banding out of every gradient and gives the light a little tooth. Left of the line: without. Right: with.
Every control is live: drag a slider and the field behind this page changes with it. When it feels right, copy the CSS and take the recipe home.
