DESIGN DESCRIPTION:
A single, unhurried hero. A black void lit by a soft radial glow holds a giant
serif wordmark ("MERIDIAN / The Art of Time") rendered in brushed champagne
gold with a slow light sweeping across the letters, above a fully CSS-drawn
timepiece — a conic-gradient gold case, a sunburst-grained dial, radial-masked
hour and minute tick rings, and slender gold hands with a sweeping seconds
hand. As the visitor scrolls, copy and specifications rise into view one beat
at a time, and the watch lifts and tilts with a gentle parallax. The whole
page moves slowly: nothing snaps, everything settles, in the manner of a
luxury editorial.

MAJOR VISUAL TECHNIQUES:
- CSS-only watch: conic-gradient brushed-gold case ring; repeating-conic-gradient
  hour (12) and minute (60) tick rings masked with radial-gradients to form
  rings; radial-gradient sunburst dial texture.
- Gold text via -webkit-background-clip:text with an animated multi-stop gold
  gradient (background-size 250%) for the sweeping shimmer.
- Masked ring ticks (CSS mask + -webkit-mask radial-gradient "donut").
- Line-masked headline reveal (overflow:hidden rows, translateY wipe on load).
- Fixed header using mix-blend-mode: difference so it inverts over light/dark.
- Film-grain overlay from an inline SVG feTurbulence data-URI.
- IntersectionObserver staggered scroll-reveal with per-element delay.
- requestAnimationFrame-smoothed scroll parallax (translateY + rotateX) on the watch.
- Continuous sweeping "sheen" highlight (mix-blend-mode: screen) over the dial.

INTENDED INTERACTION MODEL:
Passive cinematic scroll. On load the eyebrow, wordmark, watch and CTA rise and
scale in sequence on a timer. Hovering a button lifts it and shifts the gold
gradient. Scrolling drives a subtle parallax tilt of the watch and triggers the
craft / specifications / edition copy to fade up in staggered steps. The second
hand ticks continuously. No menus to open, no forms to fill — the visitor is
guided, not asked to act.
