Three hundred miles of fen, forest and low hill between the Wall and the sea, and every one of those miles has been walked by somebody with a reason. I have marked the reasons.
What I have not marked is the part where the road stops being a road. The cartographers of the College would have it that a map is a set of distances, and the distances are true, and the result is useless. A map is a set of intentions.
