Every hue is the same wave arriving a little later. What looks like colour is only timing, the way an echo is only distance.

III · Crest

Full voice

At the crest the lines overlap so tightly they print new colours where they cross. Scroll faster and they shiver with the speed of your hand.

IV · Interference

Where peaks
meet troughs

Some crossings cancel to nothing. Move across the page and a pressure ripples outward from your pointer, bending all thirty voices at once.

V · Afterglow

And then,
quiet.

The amplitude falls away, the phases drift back into near agreement, and the page is paper again.
