Ines Varga is an independent art director working across identity, editorial and exhibition design. Trained as a typographer in Budapest and later at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, she spent six years leading the studio at a Berlin publishing house before opening her own practice in 2019.

Her work has been recognised by the Type Directors Club, D&AD and the German Design Council. She teaches a seminar on editorial rhythm and, once a year, disappears to the Alentejo to draw letters by hand.
