A specimen book of capitals

Letters,
pressed.

Every capital keeps a small wilderness inside it. Select a letter and the herbarium will grow its leaves — deterministic, tender, and slightly different from the last.

MethodStems grow from a shared root and curve toward the light of the page. Leaves alternate; flowers appear only where the letter has a serif.
NamingEach specimen is named for its temperament: acutum for sharp corners, rotundum for bowls, longum for stems and descenders.
CareKeep out of direct sunlight. Water once a week with attention. Do not correct the letter; it has already decided what it is.
