Hello, I’m Juno.

I’m an illustrator — a made-up one, for this page — who draws small, ordinary things until they feel a little bit magic: trams at night, soup, plants that refuse to die, lighthouses, sleepy cats.

This sketchbook is my portfolio. The finished work is in here, and so are the coffee rings.

How a drawing happens

  • 0.5 mm graphite, soft
  • red pencil, for the good bits
  • one yellow highlighter, nearly dry
  • an eraser (lost, again)
rule no. 1: draw the thing, not the idea of the thing.
