Tapestries of Elementary Cellular Automata

A row of threads, each on or off. Every new pick of the shuttle looks at three neighbours in the row above — left, centre, right — and one of 256 rules decides the colour below. Where the weft floats on top the cell is on; where the warp shows through it is off. The cloth wraps at the selvedges and never repeats the same way twice.
