Small-batch roasters
We roast twelve kilos at a time in a cast-iron drum, listening for the first crack, and ship every bag within two days of the fire.
Our Beans
Each lot is bought from a single (fictional) estate, cupped on the roastery bench, and roasted to show the place it came from. Drag, swipe or use the arrows.

Tasting Notes
Hover the wheel to open a family of flavours; choose one to see which of this season's beans carry it.
Fruity, floral, sweet, nutty, spices and roasted: the six we reach for most on the cupping table. Pick one on the wheel.
Roast Level
Drag the slider through a roast. Listen for first crack, when trapped steam splits the bean with a pop.
Bean temperature ~218 °C
Balanced: sweetness and body have caught up with acidity.
An illustrative bean-temperature curve for a roast of about twelve minutes. Stages and temperatures are approximate.
Brew Guide
Three methods from the tasting-room bar. Start the timer and we will walk you through every pour.
